Our baby Dinky, our first dog who we rescued over 15 yrs ago from the Scottish society for the prevention of cruelty to animals rescue centre Inverness, was put to sleep yesterday while under anesthetic as he'd been off colour a couple of days struggling to eat, so at vets they suggested knocking him out to check a lump in his throat, thought it was a swollen gland, and to get good look at his teeth and clean them. Unfortunately the lump turned out to be a very fast aggressive cancer which was pressing on his larynx and causing discomfort breathing and eating. We miss him so much, it was so sudden and unexpected. RIP Dinky, you'll forever be in our hearts, the most special little man that ever lived. No more pain, joining your friends Winter, Bandit, Jess and Storm.
